I Building Software
Over my 16 years as a computer programmer I've seen it all; from my early days tinkering with PHP/FI right up to the present-day modernity of PHP5.5, two things have been a constant in my career: a dedication to the art of PHP and to the unending enjoyment of programming that accompanies it. Along my winding PHP journey I've picked up a broad base of skills, including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, LAMP server administration, database design, object-oriented design theory, and various SCM/version control systems just to name a few. I've also contributed code, documentation and discussion to a number of open-source projects in recent years, primarily within the Zend Framework ecosystem.
Despite my love of PHP I am more than just a one-trick pony. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland, with minor concentrations in Mathematics and Economics. My non-PHP skills include proficency in C#.NET, web-based mobile development (jQmobile, Sencha Touch), NodeJS, Atmel microprocessors, and Java (the subject of my B.Sc work)
I am a full-service contractor who will guide you through every stage of your project's evolution, from planning to implementation to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
